A Warm Finish To The End Of The Year
Last weekend at Made Market marked the home stretch of my 2025 market season. I felt a little bittersweet as it was the final event of the year, and the last time I’d be vending before the spring comes. However, I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to see everyone, and think about how far I’ve come this year overall. I’m also grateful to be getting some well-deserved rest this winter, and time to work on future endeavors.
This winter’s Made Market felt like a culmination of all the small shifts I’ve been making in my practice: refining my fine-art identity, expanding my product line, and redesigning the booth to feel more intentional and inviting. Many of you noticed those changes, and your support genuinely meant the world. It was my strongest winter market yet — full of steady conversations, returning collectors, and people discovering my work for the first time.
Seeing this iteration of the booth in action felt like watching all the behind-the-scenes planning settle into place. The puzzles, the prints, the ornaments, the totes…everything finally felt like it lived in the same world.
Thank you to everyone who came by, shared encouragement, supported my work, or picked up gifts for loved ones. Ending the year like this has left me feeling energized and deeply grateful.
And Now… Onto an Exhibition That Means So Much to Me!
As I wrap up my own season of events with vending, I’m also wrapping up another semester of teaching. I’d love to turn the spotlight toward something just as meaningful: my Broadway Arts Academy student exhibition, happening now and continuing through next month.
In my previous newsletter, I shared how teaching has changed me, and how my students remind me of that daily. They paint bravely, ask thoughtful questions, take risks, and allow themselves to explore. Watching their progress has reshaped the way I think about my own creative practice.
I’m so excited to invite you to their upcoming exhibition! They’ve worked so hard, and deserve the best audience to show their work.

This weekend is an especially great time to stop by if you want to see the work in person and support these artists as they share their creations with the community.
Their show is full of individuality — landscapes, portraits, abstract explorations, and everything in between. They’ve all been working on their own practices, and that's what makes the show so unique! All walks of life and levels of experience coming together to celebrate the semester.
