As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, I’ve been thinking about how much I love the cozy magic of this season — a time for creativity, light, and a touch of whimsy. 🍂
If you’ve joined me at an evening festival before, you probably know how much I adore lanterns. This Halloween, I thought it would be fun to bring that same glow into your home with a little DIY project you can enjoy with loved ones.
✨ DIY Lantern Project — A Jack-o’-Lantern with a Twist
All you need is a balloon, some tissue paper, and glue. Layer the tissues over the balloon, let it dry, pop the balloon, and then decorate it however your imagination leads you — spooky, sweet, or just delightfully whimsical. Add a small LED light inside, and voilà — a handmade lantern that glows with your creativity! 🕯️
It’s such a simple joy, but it reminds me how much light we can create with our own hands and hearts.

It’s the perfect way to slow down, sip something warm, paint a little, and maybe find a few treasures for yourself or a friend.
