Hi friend,
This week, I’m taking a quiet pause to reflect on something deeply meaningful to me — another year shared with the person who’s walked beside me through so many seasons of life, love, and becoming.
Each year, around this time, we check in with one another — not just with sweet words or shared memories, but with real intention.
How are we doing? Are we still walking toward our long-term dreams — both as a couple and as individuals? Are we creating space for joy, for growth, for rest? Are we truly seeing one another?
These questions might sound simple, but they invite honesty — the kind that strengthens connection and reminds us that love is a living thing. It needs tending, care, and room to evolve.
Our journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been real. Rooted. Filled with quiet strength, gentle laughter, and a deepening understanding that only time can offer.
So today, I’m celebrating:
💛 The art of checking in — with love and without rush
🌿 The beauty of growing together, with intention and grace
🌙 And the quiet courage it takes to choose each other again and again
Whether you're walking this path with a partner, exploring your own rhythm, or nurturing your creative journey — I hope you find a moment to pause and ask:
How am I really doing?
What do I need more of?
What am I ready to release?
These small questions can open the door to big shifts.
Yours Truly,
Makara
