A Familiar Space, Ready for Its Next Chapter
This winter’s Made Market is just around the corner, and it has me buzzing with excitement!
Made Market has become one of those beloved constants in my creative life — a place where I get to see familiar faces, reconnect with long-time supporters, and welcome new visitors. So many of you have seen every booth I’ve put together — the experiments, the rearranging, the tiny details I obsess over because I want the artwork to feel welcoming the moment you step in. You’ve explored each new version right alongside me, and that’s why I’m thrilled to show you what’s coming next. It feels like a moment we’ve been building toward together.
Before I tell you what's new in this winter’s setup, I wanted to take a moment to look back at where we’ve been.
The First Setup — Where It All Started ✨
If you’ve been with me since 2022, you might remember this version.
Back when my brand was still ‘Play With Pigments’ (what a throwback!), my booth was a couple of tables, stacks of prints, greeting cards, and the little coloring postcards I loved sharing. That was my very first Made Market booth. Finally being accepted into the show felt huge, and for many of you, this was the moment we first met.
Since then, my booth has transformed so many times, and you’ve seen each version take on a new personality. I officially re-branded the business into my name, and bit by bit, I added things that felt right for where my art was headed. Puzzles, ornaments, tote bags, and the first pieces of my fine-art identity taking shape. Eventually, I started weaving in décor like floral arrangements, and finding containers that made browsing feel more effortless.
Every version taught me something about clarity, flow, and how to make the artwork feel inviting. I could sense when something worked, when people felt comfortable, when they could experience the artwork without distraction. All of those small discoveries have shaped where the booth is today.
The New Version — And the One You’ll See Next
The last booth from this summer felt like a big step forward. I took a huge step, and built walls — real walls — so the artwork could finally rise upward instead of laying flat. Suddenly, the booth felt more like a small gallery with the heart of a boutique.
But this winter’s setup goes even further, and I can’t wait for you to experience it!
This time, almost everything will live on shelves or walls, opening the booth into a spacious, walkable layout. You’ll be able to step fully inside, explore from different angles, and see the artwork clearly from a distance. It’s the most open and inviting version I’ve ever created, and it finally feels like the booth I’ve been trying to build all along.
Making this happen has meant figuring out how to build display walls, design modular elements, and create storage-friendly, budget-friendly solutions — but all of it feels worth it knowing you’ll walk into a space that feels both familiar and new.
