✨Asian Night Market Recap + What’s Next 🌌

Hi friend,

What a magical evening the Asian Night Market was! ✨ Once again, I had the honor of being the “Lantern Lady,” sharing light and joy with you under the night sky. Seeing families, friends, and little ones carrying lanterns will forever be one of my favorite parts of this season — it’s a tradition that connects me to my own childhood, and I’m so grateful to share it with you. 💛 (click the image below to view a short video)

It’s been such an eventful season, and I’m so glad you’ve been here alongside me. I always tell myself I’ll do fewer shows each year for the sake of my health — but that’s a short-lived dream. I just get so excited to meet with you all, and it’s hard to pass up the opportunity. Which is the perfect segway to my next bit of news:

I’m delighted to share that three of my works from the “Lost in Daydreams” series will be part of an upcoming exhibition called Composition in Color, hosted by Arts Connect Lexington.

These pieces — Lost in Daydreams Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 — are some of my most personal explorations of color, texture, and quiet reflection. They carry with them the same sense of wonder and comfort I hope you feel when stepping into a daydream of your own. ✨

Composition in Color brings together artists who are using color as a language — to tell stories, to stir emotions, and to open doors into new ways of seeing. I’m honored to be included, and I’d love for you to experience this show if you’re able.

One new event I’m especially looking forward to is MountFest, hosted by the Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality. 🍃 The vision of this event is close to my heart: bringing people together to connect within themselves, with each other, and with nature, finding peace along the way.

No matter your spiritual affiliation, there’s always a connection that unites us in some form, and I’d love to share that connection with you at this beautiful, nature-filled location.

Yours truly,
Makara
